This is the 2nd time I have been out to Mavi Manzara and it just gets better. Kalkan and the villa are such a lovely place to stay, very relaxing area and watching the sunset from the BBQ area is just out of this world. I shall be back again to enjoy the peacefulness of it all. Thanks to Liz and Chris for a fantastic Villa and all your help arranging the holiday. We had a great week at Villa Mavi Manzara in May half-term. We shared it with some friends and it easily fitted 2 families including 3 lively little boys aged 3 - 5. The whole place was well stocked and well looked after with a daily visit from the pool guy and a weekly maid service - bliss! We'd thoroughly recommend Potara beach which was beautiful - unspoiled apart from 1 robinson crusoe style beach cafe with toilets and showers - one of the days we went there were some great little breaker waves which were fun for boogie boarding. Kalkan is a beautiful town although we were content most nights to barbecue at the villa and eat our dinner under the pergola. A great holiday - the owners seem to have thought of everything you could need! We'll definitely be back. 29 June 2010 - Huddersfield

Just returned from our 3rd visit to the Villa and it just keeps getting better and better. The location and views are stunning. Kalkan has plenty old and new restaurants and the staff are very friendly. A week isn't long enough and we can't wait to return. A week was definitely not long enough at Villa Mavi Manzara as you could not wish for better accommodation. The standard of comfort and attention to detail was excellent. The Villa was spotlessly clean and extremely spacious and had a luxurious feel to every room. The views were stunning and on arrival we were immediately filled with a sense of calm. The Villa contained all modern appliances for your every need even down to iPod docking station, hairdryers, etc. Kalkan town was filled with an abundance of boutiques, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. The locals were extremely friendly and the service in all the restaurants was top notch! We have been to Turkey several times but Kalkan is by far the best place I have visited so far and will definitely be returning. Overall the holiday was truly fabulous and it could not be faulted. We have just come back from the villa. It was the best holiday that any of us have ever had. The villa looks like a premiership footballers pad. There are fantastic views from the pool and the balcony. It is definitely a place we will all want to re-visit over and over again. Not only was the accommodation perfect and the location fantastic, the people in the town were so friendly, I didn't want to come home. I felt that 1 week just wasn't long enough. We had an excellent holiday, in Kalkhan and at Villa Mavi Manzara, one of our best ever! The villa is very comfortable with some great views and we even had a cat come and visit us each day for milk and affection. The gazebo is a great place to escape from the heat of the day and because the villa is slightly higher it enjoys some really cooling breezes which were much appreciated on the hot days. The restaurants in Kalkhan were high quality and great value. Our favourite was Doy Doy which we felt was just better than Aubergene. Great villa, great people, great food equals a great holiday!! What a wonderful holiday we had! Two families with 3 children between us and plenty of room in the villa for us all. The villa itself was lovely, breathtaking views and the luxury of double sunbeds!! The villa was spotless and the pool area was cleaned every day by Jamali. Both he and his wife worked extremely hard to maintain the high standard of cleanliness both inside and out. The children had a great time both in the pool and out, taking advantage of the playstation and DVD player. Kalkan was beautiful. The best resort in Turkey we have visited. Quite upmarket, with fabulous restaurants, all family friendly. We especially enjoyed the "Marina". The staff were wonderful with the children (and us), going out of their way to help us. We requested a "hubbly bubbly pipe" one night and while they didn't actually have any, one magically appeared and was all set up ready for us when we had finished our meal. There are so many restaurants to choose from and all of a high standard. Had a fab day out on a private gulet (Pina-x), very reasonably priced and fabulous food. Highly recommended. We would definitely go to Kalkan again and hopefully stay in the Villa Mavi Manzara as it could not be faulted. Liz and Chris are highly professional and helped to make our holiday very special. The memories of sipping wine in a frozen ice cold glass, while gazing at the breathtaking views from the infinity pool are to be forever etched in our minds!!! 16 August 2009 - Lancs, UK

In nearly a decade of villa holidays this is easily the best we've stayed in! The level of comfort is outstanding. Great beds, goosedown pillows and even frozen glasses in the freezer for an ice cold beer. Great privacy and quiet location make for an exceptionally relaxed holiday.
